In-Center Tutoring

Our tutoring center provides a learning environment that facilitates and supports mathematical discourse. Whiteboards, independent study spaces, and textbooks are amongst the many resources readily available to students. Our teachers are trained to guide students in the exact direction that their teacher is teaching them. We also provide a unique curriculum that serves as enrichment after students have completed their assignments.

In-Person Services

At Math Man Olmedo we integrate content knowledge, experience, and passion to help students understand, not only the critical concepts in math, but also how to retain concepts.

We provide homework help, test prep, and enrichment for:

  • Elementary School Reading & Math

  • Algebra 1 and 2

  • Geometry

  • Integrated Math I, II, and III

  • Pre-Calculus

  • Calculus

  • Statistics

  • Business and Consumer Math

  • General Science (K-8th)

  • Chemistry

  • ASVAB/CBSET Math

  • SAT/ACT Math

  • CSET/GED Math

We also have experience tutoring students in higher level math courses (Honors, AP, IB, Dual Enrollment) and with a range of learning abilities and challenges such as ADHD and dyslexia. Some of our teachers hold masters degrees and special education teaching credentials.

Math Man Olmedo recommends 4 tutoring sessions per week divided into 2 virtual sessions and 2 in-person sessions to learn weekly concepts and complete homework.
